Stay in our luxury self-contained holiday home accommodation in Nelson, New Zealand. The Wheelhouse Inn holiday homes have spectacular sea views from Nelson's Port Hills over sparkling Tasman Bay.

The location is absolutely prime for a stay on the south upper island of NZ. Nelson is a delightful town, stay local on Saturday morning so that you can visit the Nelson market, the vendors were friendly and engaging with many fine booths of food and wonderful NZ items. Traveled to Abel Tasman one day and Picton the next. My only regret was visiting the WOW Museum, quite overpriced and disappointing.

We stayed here with our 2 young children and it was fantastic. There are fantastic views from the living area. Everything is well appointed and lovely and clean. Full kitchen makes it great if you are wanting to cook your own meals. Close to town. Only advice for those with younger children is to take something to cover the windows. The blinds are quite thin which made it hard for children waking early in the morning.

The owners Ralph and Sally, plus their lovely Labrador Floyd, couldn't be nicer and accommodating. We stayed in the Crow's Nest for eight nights while attending amfriend's wedding and it suited our family of four perfectly. The views are amazing and we loved eating out on the deck. Another great plus about this place is that it is high enough up the hill to avoid the constant traffic noise that you get further down. Would love to say here again!

What a great experience it was staying at your wonderful accomodation,it definately exceeded our expectations & will certainly book with you again if we are ever in your area,will also suggest your place to our friends as we are sure they will love it as much as we did,love the ceramic birds too,we actually saw one of your family at Fleur's restaurant at Moeraki which was lovely & even better that we were lucky enough to visit the nest. The location & high standard of the building were amazing.Well done to all of you. Thank you for a wonderful stay,shame we couldn't stay longer.(maybe next visit)
