Our apartment was well appointed. Could do with more natural light however what stood out for us was the service. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We unintentionally left behind a phone charger. The staff were quick to respond about the charger and couried it to us at minimal cost. Other places i have stayed at refuse to do this. The room was large well equipped, clean and quiet. About 1 kilometer to the city centre, where you find a vast variety of good restaurants, pubs, stores, etc. Nelson is a nice place from where you can start great walks through the Abel Tasman National Park. You have excellent restaurants at the sea side. Try the Harbour Light Bistro.

A fanatastic motel with excellent facilities at a very good price. The spa, pool etc was right in amongst the backpackers area but they didnt bite so it was all good!!!! i would stay there again in a heart beat so that says it all. Highly recommend to everyone who is thinking about going to the area.

Good place to stay nice, clean, comfy, easy to find the place and plenty of parking, etc.... but noisy at nigh from backpacker.

Apartments Paradiso are motel-style rooms that sit adjacent to their backpackers' hostel, which is where many of the facilities are located (such as the kitchen and pools). Because the main reception desk is in the hostel, rather than with the apartments, they allow guests to check themselves in at any time. Consequently, we had the unfortunate experience of a group arriving after midnight and making a lot of noise in the car park and their unit for a long while. Apart from this, our room was nicely fitted out and clean and we appreciated the king size bed, though the spa bath was old and not all the jets functioned.
