Work in Kerikeri is normally available throughout the year in some form or other.
Our busy period for work is mid March through to September
Often available in one of the many Orchards, Farms, Cafes, Bars and Shops. We are only too happy to help you find work when available.

Its essential that you Have a valid working holiday visa (if applicable), IRD tax number, NZ bank account,staying with us and registered for seasonal work
We operate a fair work policy, "first come first served"

The host at Keri Central is very friendly and helpful and we had a lovely stay there marred only by some excessive noise in the middle of the night.

Manager let me use one of his bike wheels for free as my own had a flat and the only bike shop in town was closed on that day quite unusually. i really appreciate the kindness. also, he arranged me to rent the van of another traveller-tenant to move my belongings from auckland to kerikeri, and that saved me some bucks and made the van owner happy too!

Loved my stay at kericentral! sign in was easy, just give your name and booking number, i had not managed to print my form, but no problem. Great location, not noisy at night, lovely people, you are given sheets, pillows and blanket. I had no problems about space (ie lack thereof) either in kitchen or bathroom! they went out of their way to be helpful: first they asked the other guests if someone would give up their bottom bunk for me (successfully, too!) and later, as i had left my keys behind they couriered them back to me free of charge!! thanks so much! will definitely stay again! .

Travelling solo and without a car I was happy with accom as it was close to shops and the Intercity/Northliner stop. Room/bed was most comfortable.My only complaint was the noise of the kitchen door opening and closing at right angles to my door and noise/scratching etc as folk moved through a tight space.I wondered if I would get any sleep. After 10 pm music was switched off and all went quiet. My fears allayed and I would recommend to budget travellers.

Friendly people/staff. Not too big, not too noisey. People generally considerate .Could do with an extra bathroom. Great to be able to use bikes and free internet.Good facilities, I'd stay again.

Thanks for your review Greg. I take note of your comment re an extra Bathroom ! We have already made plans for extra facilities. A lot of our guests are overseas visitors who do seasonal work in local orchards etc and all finish work around the same time and want showers at the same time after a hard days work.
