The Ash Grove Boutique Motel is located on Puketona Road, just 3 minutes drive from the busy Paihia / Waitangi waterfront, and the center of the Bay of Islands tourist attractions. We offer fully self-contained, well-equipped studio and one bedroom units, opening onto landscaped gardens with a superb swimming pool and spa. Four studio units are furnished with a queen-size bed; one cottage studio has two single beds which can be ziplinked together to make a king size. The other cottage studio is our 'Honeymoon Hideaway' with a queen size bed and located away from the pool area for those people wanting a little peace and privacy.
One bedroom units have a separate double bedroom with queen-size bed. The lounge area has a two single beds, one of which is a trundler.
As the Ash Grove is a small motel, we are able to offer the personal service of a B & B, with the independence of self-catering. We are happy to help in any way we can to make your holiday in the beautiful Bay of Islands as enjoyable as possible.

We had a lovely time. we stayed in one of the cottages and it was just lovely, very clean and nicely set up and it had absolutely everything we needed with a nice little balcony. The owners were very friendly and accomodating and even provided fresh home baked muffins on our arrival. We had a lovely stay and would definately stay again and recommend to others.

Very impressed with the cleanliness and layout of Ash Grove,it couldnt be faulted. The personal touch provided was exceptional right down to the lemon muffins on arrival. My daughter is a travel agent and I have recommended Ash Grove to her.....we will be back.
