Clean and comfortable family style seafront motel. All rooms have SKY TV and WIFI. We are located on the nicest beach in Paihia, just a five minute walk to shops, restaurants and a supermarket. Enjoy the Bay of Islands!

A good location as within walking distance of Paihia and Waitangi. The motel was well equipped and generally clean, although our rubbish bin was overlooked and not emptied. We had two units on the ground and I did think that the surcharge for a water view for the front one was not warranted as the view was more cars and road.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bay Sands Motel. The Manager was extremely helpful and knowlegable about the area. The motel unit was very clean and comfortable. Located in an extremely popular area and handy to other beautiful attractions and locations. We loved our whole experience in the Bay of Islands and will be back. Very good value for money.
