Located in the heart of the Bay of Islands, at historic Haruru Falls, in peaceful park-like setting 3 km fom Paihia.
We have the most spectacular views of the falls, lagoon and reserve, our own private beach and historic wharf with blue water access. 6 x 2-bedroom (family) apartments that sleep up to 6 people and 7 studio units that sleep 2-3 people, all with kitchen, ensuite bathroom and spectacular views .
All rooms have new beds ( luxury kings, queens, king singles) and have now got 32" lcd tv's.
Cot, high chair, laundry, library, WiFi (50Mb/day free).
Waterfront powered campervan and tent sites, kitchen, laundry, hot showers and toilets, pool also for the use of campground guests.
Bookings for Cape Reinga, bay cruises, fishing charters, Treaty House, etc arranged... Just ask, we will do our best to make your stay with us an enjoyable one. New hosts (since 1 April 2009): Andre and Olga.

We had a great stay over Easter. Very friendly and helpful staff when we arrived. Our room was spacious and clean with a view of the falls. A plentiful supply of tea, coffe etc. Easy walk to the falls. Would recommend to everyone :)

The motel is in a lovely location overlooking the falls which were a raging torrent after the recent heavy rain. Found the unit very comfortable, clean and well maintained. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend and would use again.

It was our family pleasure to stay at the Falls Motel and rooms were really nice and tidy. The experience of the kayaking at the waterfront of the Falls Motel was great. The pool was awesome but didn't get to stay in it for longer. Our family will like to stay at the Falls Motel again if we visit up north.

Really enjoyed the view from our back patio and seeing and hearing Haruru Falls all the while. We got excellent service from the owners and the beds were great.
