One of the finest locations on the Tutukaka Paradise Coast with access to four private beaches! Tawapou is an excellent location for snorkelling, fishing, diving, swimming and relaxing with a breathtaking Pacific Ocean outlook and a stunning view of the famous Poor Knights Islands.

Listen to the sound of the waves hitting the rocks complimented by the sound of a variety of native birds. Provided is a microwave, small oven with two elements, heater, toaster, jug, fridge/freezer, self-contained kitchen, television, radio, open plan dining, BBQ, outdoor seating, shower, toilet and hand basin, washing machine and dryer, filtered water and linen supplied. It sleeps five comfortably however it could sleep seven consisting of x1 sofa bed in lounge, x2 single beds in one bedroom, x1 king bed in another bedroom and x1 single bed in another room. This fully self-contained two bedroom unit adjoins the owner's residence, yet is very private.

Coastal walks over 300 acres with rural views are at your doorstep. Listen to the NZ Kiwi at night and observe the native wildlife in their natural habitat from the surrounds of this property. Just minutes drive away is Matapouri Bay and its horseshoe of white sand and mermaid pools. Enjoy a scenic walk down to Whale Bay, equally one of the best white sand beaches on the coast with Woolley's Bay and Sandy Bay being neighbouring white sand beaches, popular for board surfing. Tutukaka (gateway to the Poor Knights Islands) is an easy drive away where there are cafes, restaurants, bars, hairdresser and beauty spa, dairy, Oceans Resort, Dive Tutukaka (for trips to the Poor Knights Islands, diving historical dive wrecks and boat ride to the largest sea cave in the world), kayak hire, a real estate company and gift shops.

'We had the best time! Loved the views, big outdoor space for the kids, loved Sophie the boxer and it was immaculately clean! It was quite a trek for our little 3 and 5 year olds to get down to the polished pebble beaches but just plan to stay for the day instead of thinking of going back and forth to the house. Also it doesn't say but there is a dvd/video player...most important for the kids! would definitely come back!! Thankyou'
