Drive north from Auckland for 90 minutes or south 80 minutes from the Bay of Islands and you will arrive at one of the best holiday spots in New Zealand
The Waipu Cove Resort is situated less than 100 metres from beautiful Waipu Cove Beach and the Pacific paradise of Bream Bay. Enjoy kilometres of golden sand, swimming, surfing, fishing, fossicking in rock pools and walking in secluded surroundings including a bird sanctuary.
Relax and enjoy the spectacular view from the sand dunes or take a short drive to the museum, art gallery, restaurants and golf courses or explore the Waipu Caves. Ride a horse on the beach or visit the nearby Marsden Point Oil Refinery Visitors Centre.
Waipu Cove Resort features a swimming pool; heated spa pool, laundry, BBQ's and all units have SKY TV & DVD players.
The Beach House restaurant, a restaurant/bar/conference facility, is at the rear of the property and offers you a unique dining experience to enhance your stay with us. Next door is the Waipu Cove General Store which has available items ranging from the daily paper to barbeque and fresh meats, fruit and vegetables along with fresh baked breads and takeaways.

Loved the Resort, just a shame we only stayed overnight, lovely pool area and loved the outdoor spa, even in the rain! Studio apartment exceeded expectations, very smart and modern! And the bush setting courtyard was beautiful. Superb takeaway next door and the beach a short stroll away.

Waipu cove resort was a lovely stay wouldn't reccomend it for small children though...a quick walk to the gorgeous beach although thats all you can do really....lovely modern clean rooms overall a nice place to stay!!!
