  • We travelled for 2 weeks in Central Otago and Burn Cottage was by far the best accommodation. We were greeted very warmly on a very bleak wet day, we had everything we needed and were even given a nice big bowl of home grown fresh walnuts to crack and accompany our pinot noir - what more could we want in front of the lovely gas fire. Very clean, quite and stunning surroundings and loved the bike ride. Thank you we hope we can return some day. 5
    DONNA MCINTOSH - Mar 13, 2012
  • Thanks for your lovely comments and we are really pleased you enjoyed your break with us, despite the rainy day!! This year's walnuts just starting to fall and it looks like being a bumper crop again, so come back soon and enjoy!!! Cheers Rose and Phil

  • This is truly a gem of a hideaway. We needed a weekend getaway in a relaxing and comfortable setting. Facilities were superb. Gardens awesome. You couldn't have asked for more here, really exceeded our expectations. Excellent hosts who went out of their way to be helpful. We will return, next time for more than just a night! 5

  • Very welcoming hosts and cabin is fitted to a high standard and well kept. Grounds around the cabins are nice to sit in or walk about. Not far from Cromwell town centre, close enough to use one of the cycles if you are so inclined. Very quiet at night, no passing traffic noise and each cabin is set away from the others. Would recommend to our friends and stay again ourselves. 5
