Welcome to Rosemary Retreat, Self contained accommodation, Otago Peninsula, Dunedin, New Zealand.
Rosemary Retreat is a self contained apartment on the garden side of Chy-an-Dowr. Located on the scenic Otago Peninsula, halfway between Dunedin City and the Royal Albatross and Yellow Eyed and little Blue Penguin colonies and situated in Broad Bay, just across the road from a small beach.
Rosemary Retreat is your own private retreat with an outdoor patio in a garden setting. You have off street parking in the garden and access through the garden to Rosemary Retreat.
The apartment consists of a lounge/dining room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom.
The lounge/dining room has a table and chairs, double bedsette (sofabed sleeps one adult or two children), TV, DVD player, CD player/radio, books and magazines with French doors opening to a garden patio behind the rosemary hedge. Enjoy views of the rose garden from the lounge and patio in summer. The kitchen has a Breville double Hot Plate, an oven, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer etc.
The apartment is self catering and is available without breakfast. Breakfast supplies are available at an additional $25 for two.
Complimentary Tea, Herbal teas, Filter and Instant Coffee, Drinking Chocolate and Biscuits.
The bedroom has a king-size bed, electric blanket, wool underlay, cotton sheets, duvets/blanket. There is a separate bathroom with a shower over a bath, vanity and toilet. Bathrobes, toiletries and a hairdryer are provided.
Sleeps up to 4, King-size bed and double sofabed in lounge.
Laundry facilities available on request.
The Otago Peninsula is well known for the Royal Albatross Colony, Yellow-eyed Penguins, Little Blue Penguins, seals and sealions. There are many walkways, secluded beaches and wonderful views. A great area for walking or birdwatching. Larnach Castle, the Marine Studies Aquarium and Glenfalloch Gardens are nearby, as are the many local arts and crafts studios. There are several local cafés and restaurants on the Otago Peninsula.
