Enjoy luxury hotel accommodation in one of Dunedin's finest. Originally built in 1907 for Doctor Roberts, a Dunedin surgeon, 526 George Street Boutique Hotel now provides a new standard in luxury hotel accommodation. Superbly appointed suites ranging from doubles, twins to large family rooms, all with private facilities. Wheel chair access also. We cater for individuals, families, groups and businesses. Our service also include facilities for functions and conferences.
Complementary continental breakfast, wireless broadband access for guest's computers, 40-channel SKY TV and carparking is included in the room rate.
Continental breakfast is served each morning in our dining room, with the many restaurants and cafes within a few minutes walk providing a large choice for evening dining.
We're only 200m from Dunedin's main street, shopping area and an excellent selection of local cafes and restaurants.

The stay itself was good, although the cleaners had for some reason left the shower head pointing out into the room, meaning that everything got soaked. But the real problem was payment. When I checked in, I told them I had already paid for my stay. But when I checked out, they still made me pay, even though I told them again I had already paid. They also charged me a different amount to what was on the receipt they gave me, and it took a bit of emailing to get a refund. Not impressed.
