In 1923 Edgeley was described as a "superior class of house ... and one of the finest of the old homes round about Dunedin." With outstanding Ocean views from both of the guest bedrooms and lounge, we invite you to stay at our home in the peaceful and tranquil area of Andersons Bay, Dunedin, "The Gateway to the Peninsula".
Originally built in the 1860's, Edgeley or "Fairy Knowe" as it was known then, has undergone many changes over the years. Now home to the Parker family and "Penny" our very friendly dog, we offer a warm welcome to those who wish to stay with us.
We offer a superior class of accommodation with either an ensuite or private shower room. Listen to the sound of the bellbirds and the Pacific Ocean whilst you enjoy a sumptious home-cooked breakfast. We have a maximum of 5 guests at any one time so you can be assured that service and our guests' comfort is our number one priority.
Located in Andersons Bay, by car, we are 30 minutes from Dunedin Airport, 15 minutes from Larnach Castle, the City Centre and the Octagon and only 7 minutes from the Edgar Event Centre. Our location makes us the ideal place to stay when visiting Dunedin whether for business or pleasure.

Delightful hosts,so welcoming and helpful and did so much to make our stay with them an enjoyable experience.Our room was lovely,extremely spacious with view out towards the sea.Bathroom as big as a ballroom!! :o)Everywhere sparkling,tea/coffee etc in our room....we honestly couldn't have wished for more and would certainly go back if/when we are down in that part of the country. The accomodation and the house are really great :D In addition the owners are very sympathic, the location is nice especially if you wanna discover the otago peninsula. I really recommend this adress. It was the best stay in NZ over 4 weeks of travelling. I would have like to spend more time there.

The Edgeley B&B was outstanding. The service was personable and of high quality. The facilities were very comfortable and relaxing. The hosts were very accomodating, friendly and welcoming and the food was spectacular. I highly recommend this place and I hope to stay there when I am in Dunedin again. Thanks Janet and Peter!

Huge room with all comforts. Amazing breakfast options, would cost $20 NZ elsewhere. Very quiet and great beds. About 10 min drive from town - you need a car. And rooms are up stairs. Although bathroom is not connected to room, no problem as it is not shared ( only 2 guest rooms at the B & B) and they provide robes.

THE PLACE WAS VERY NICE, VIEWS OUT OF BOTH WINDOWS AND FOOD GOOD. THE OWNERS WERE VERY PLEASANT. ACCOMMODATION WAS NOT VERY EASY TO FIND.
