This twin bedded, self contained unit, is situated on a 14 acre lifestyle property on the Taieri plains just a 15 minute drive from the centre of Dunedin, a 5 minute drive from Mosgiel and a 20 minute drive from Dunedin International Airport. The unit is like a small motel unit and adjoins a 1890s character homestead. The hosts keep cattle, sheep and horses.
The rate is for room only, the facility has its own bathroom and a kitchenette to allow for basic self catering.
The location is tranquil with a rural outlook and up long driveway, so well away from traffic. There is only the one unit on site.

It is set in a quiet peaceful rural setting. We spent most of our time in Dunedin and after the business of the city Jane's place was like paradise. It is very well equipped, with everything you can possibly need. The beds were comfortable and the hosts are friendly and welcoming. I will definitely go back when I visit Dunedin.

Lovely accommodation in a delightful country setting. Very comfortable beds, immaculately clean with a good heater for cooler nights. Only a few minutes drive from Mosgiel. Thank you Jane. We'd definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

What a great find! We arrived late on a cold, windy night and were warmly greeted by Jane, who also left us homemade muffins for our supper. The accommodation is lovely with all the mod cons and has a cosy, country feel to it and it is very quiet at night. The room is clean, cosy and warm. The shower has really good water pressure and the little kitchen is adequately stocked with cutlery, plates, microwave and bench-top convection oven. It has 2 comfortable single beds which also have electric blankets for those cold winter nights, however, it probably doesn't need it because the heater in the room is enough to warm the room itself. They also have a small, but good range of DVDs, videos and books to keep you amused. It is only 15 minutes drive from Dunedin city centre. Next time I am back in Dunedin, I would definitely stay here. I would greatly recommend this place to stay! Thanks for the stay Jane - this place is lovely and peaceful.
