  • Stayed for just a night in nov. Greg, our hardworking wonderful host was very welcoming, the room is comfortable, well equiped and very clean. The freshly baked bread was especially great and we loved it! was supposed to stay at the city, but never regretted to switch to this farmstay as it offered a much better (and different) experience and would easily recommended it. Lovely sunrise views of the pacific coast from the edge of the farm, and we got to meet (and touch) the alpacas, not forgetting the horses, sheep and the intrepid farm cat. Plenty of photgraphic oppourtunities in and around the farm. Thanks greg for the enjoyable time! (from fung and alicia). 5

  • We spent three wonderful nights at karaka alpaca b&b. Gregg the perfect host, superb fresh bread each morning, and fresh picked tomatoes too! superb location, peaceful, short walk up the hill to views of the coast, yet only five minutes into dunedin. Will certainly be back. 5

  • Greg greeted us like life long friends and made sure we were well and truly welcome. (yes, home baked bread and fresh tomatoes ) really only 10-12 mins from downtown and yet wonderfully peaceful in the country. Spotless facilities, a comfy bed and continental breakfast was everything we needed. We'll be back for sure. 5

  • This was a fantastic place to stay with a very caring and enthusiastic host. Excellent value for money. He even emailed my parents to let them know we had arrived safely as it was a last minute booking and we werent sure if it had gone through properly. 5
