  • We spent three wonderful nights at karaka alpaca b&b. Gregg the perfect host, superb fresh bread each morning, and fresh picked tomatoes too! superb location, peaceful, short walk up the hill to views of the coast, yet only five minutes into dunedin. Will certainly be back. 5

  • Greg greeted us like life long friends and made sure we were well and truly welcome. (yes, home baked bread and fresh tomatoes ) really only 10-12 mins from downtown and yet wonderfully peaceful in the country. Spotless facilities, a comfy bed and continental breakfast was everything we needed. We'll be back for sure. 5

  • This was a fantastic place to stay with a very caring and enthusiastic host. Excellent value for money. He even emailed my parents to let them know we had arrived safely as it was a last minute booking and we werent sure if it had gone through properly. 5

  • This is by far the best accommodation i have ever stayed at in dunedin. I recommend this to everybody. Greg's home baked bread loaf he gave us when we arrived was superb and the view was stunning. I will definitely be back!. 5

  • Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, greg greeted us with a freshly baked loaf of bread. The room had everything you needed, all in excellent condition (pretty much brand new). A very comfortable bed, good shower and plenty of choice with the continental breakfast supplied. Will definately stay there next time when in dunedin. We also walked up through the paddock and had a look out over the coast, a great view, well worth the effort. 5

  • Fresh, cosy, super-comfortable, everything you need but with a wonderfully-uncluttered feel. Stunning spot on the coast, a feeling of escape but without actually being far from the city centre at all. Host greg couldn't be more welcoming or accommodating, and will happily share his animals with you: an encounter with the gorgeous alpacas is reason enough to stay. On top of all that, you get a freshly-baked loaf of bread on arrival - we can whole-heartedly recommend a rejuvenating stay in this beautiful corner of dunedin. 5
