We found the room to be quite small and a little cramped compared to the places we had been staying in. I was a bit surprised to find when I arrived home and received my bank statement that I had been charged at the hotel on leaving when the charged had already been applied to my master card when we booked the hotel from the I Site in Carterton 2 days before. On checking my statement when I got home I found there were 2 charges for the same hotel! On the whole, staff were very obliging and helpful. Well placed hotel to get into the city and for walking around. Christobel Fleming

Hi Christobel Apologies for not responding to your feedback review sooner.I am finally working out how to do these responses. We do offer larger studio units. If only you had let us know that you found the "Compact unit" too small then we could have arranged an upgrade for you. Apologies for the extra charge on your credit card. In the early stages of using the "Book it" online system, we had some confusion about whether it was prepaid or guest pays direct. The options vary from site to site. I trust that you will have received a prompt refund onto your credit card once the mistake was realized. Many thanks for your positive comments about staff and location.
