  • Great place! a stunning location, surrounded by beautiful nature, quiet and cosy. Our stay was a lovely experience and the place was spotless. First class facilities and the manager annabelle was friendly, helpful and hardworking. We would love to stay again. We had the lake to ourselves for hours! kingston is a quiet place but preferable in many ways to queenstown 40 mins drive away. Stock up on food & enjoy the solitude. (we booked 'the nest' a cosy room with bunk beds near the stream, but upgraded to a room with free television, ensuite (with spa pool) etc. Luxury at a great price!. 5

  • We liked how the cottage was set up. Even tho it was cold, the stream outside the door, small fenced area and the snow made us feel like we were in our own little paradise. We were very grateful you had been into the cottage and turned on the heat prior to our arrival. Electric blanket, a big hit. If we were to say anything it would be about the water pressure in the shower, please don't be offended but the pressure was extremely low and as a result we were colder as we showered and found it difficult to get warm after our shower. The flow was so poor we could not warm up. 4

  • Thanks for your comments and we're pleased that you enjoyed the cozy cottage. Our chemical-free water comes from and underground bore and yes, the pressure can be low, but the water should always be hot. So, we think that the the problem might have been caused by the icy conditions - the pipes could have been frozen in places. So, thanks for commenting on this and we're certainly checking it out.
