The Turret

The Turret bed and breakfast, featured in NZ House and Garden, is set in an award-winning landscaped garden at Lake Hayes, situated between Arrowtown and Queenstown with panoramic views across the lake to Coronet Peak.

Accommodation is comprised of three guestrooms all with their own private bathroom. Two of the guest rooms have french doors opening out to the terrace, with the third, The Turret Suite, having its own balcony.

All rooms have fabulous views and quality beds and linens. An open wood burning fire warms the guest lounge and breakfast is served in the guest dining room, which features stunning lake views. Other cuisine options such as dinner and a picnic lunch are available upon request.

Guests can also enjoy the Lake Hayes walking track. The Turret Luxury bed and breakfast is within a short distance of several ski fields, golf courses, numerous vineyards, restaurants, cafes, as well as jet boating, paragliding and a large number of other adventure sports locations. The Turret is a great place to stay and experience all that the Queenstown area has to offer.

The Coronet Ski Area is across the valley, the Remarkables Ski Field is behind us and Cardrona is a short forty minute scenic drive.

From The Turret, it is only a short drive to:
-Coronet Peak Ski Area, as well as another three ski fields.
-Popular lake and river fishing spots.
-Any of four golf courses, with renowned Millbrook Resort one of them.
-An excellent variety of quality shops and restaurants.
-An ever-growing number of vineyards producing superb wines.
-Adventure sports, such as Bungy jumping, paragliding, jet boating etc.
-Historic Arrowtown, born of gold in the 1860's, with boutique restaurants, bush walks, a museum rated one of the best in New Zealand, gold panning, a restored Chinese miners' village and a generally Old World atmosphere.
