Kia Ora - Welcome to Oasis Hostel.
Situated close enough to Rotorua Centrals many restaurants, cafes and bars but far away enough to enjoy a sound nights sleep.
We are a two minute walk away from Kuirau Park and a couple of minutes drive from Rotorua Central.
Free internet access, Sky TV, and use of our foosball table and the tennis courts.
Parking is easy with our on-site car park.
Our rooms are spacious and feature inner-spring mattress beds with clean sheets, pillow and duvet.
Our modern kitchen is fully equipped with two ovens, two fridges, a microwave and clean plates and cups.
We have a large lounge and grassy backyard with tables and seats which is perfect for BBQs or picnics. You are also welcome to use our sauna for no extra charge.
Our friendly staff are ready to assist you in any means possible to make your stay as pleasant and hassle free as possible. Ask us to help you plan your day to make the most of Rotorua's sights and activities. We also offer free discount vouchers to many of these attractions. Our staff can also assist guests in spoken Korean and Japanese.

Thank you so much oasis for the excellent hospitality. Check in was a breeze, rooms/ bathroom facilities were very clean and the customer service was top notch. The owners were very accomodating and helpful during our stay there. Would definitely return and recommend this hostel, 5 stars!! :).

Oasis was our accommodation for raggamuffin... sarah and her husband were so lovely and helpful. It was a last minute booking that I won't regret... everyone bumps there prices up over raggaz weekend but the prices here are year round by the looks of it and it is very clean and tidy...comfortable beds and we booked a double room and a 6 bed room for our group... they were very accommodating and even dropped us off to the stadium for a small but fare contribution... Thank you Sarah, we will never forget you and your hospitality...

In Rotorua, we had stayed a backpackers for 3 nights The accommodation was comfortable, clean and almost more commodious than other backpackers but reasonably priced Also hospitable manager gave me useful information and voucher for activity around Rotorua Most of all, luckily, the owner picked us up and droped us off at some tourist attraction like Agrodome, Wai-O-Tapu even Taupo for free I am impressed with their kindness and I would highly recommend this accommodation if you are considering a trip to Rotorua Thanks to Oasis Hostel Backpackers :

We had 11 persons staying for 2 nights at queen 's birthday weekend and were very pleased about the host sarah who was very helpful and always there for advice. The rooms were particularly very clean and warm. Would definitely stay there again if we have a chance go to rotorua.

Friendly and kindly hosts. Clean and large space. Lounge and kitchen are well-equipped. You can also rent a bike for a lake trip. Very recommend to everyone.

Very nice hostel, couple of minutes walk to lake front through thermal park and city centre. Quiet and clean. Friendly helpful staff. Fast internet. Very Cheap, comfy place to stay if you want a good nights sleep, easy access to everything and want to get away from the party hostels down town.

Was nice and tidying and good service. Clean Showers and Toilets, only few minutes walk from the towns centre. One thing though was i could not charge my phone during the nights as the power points seemed to be turned off.

Hi, thanks for your review. We are very sorry about the inconvenience. We had no idea the power points were not working. Customers are more than welcome to tell reception about these issues. If the manager is not at reception, such as outside office hours, customers are welcome to ring the bell outside reception or in the lounge to call the manager 24/7.
