Our Rotorua lodge accommodation is perfect for all sorts of occasions, romantic weekend getaways, family holidays, a girls weekend, corporate retreats and everything in between. We have a private studio suitable for intimate occasions, three en-suite bedrooms which can be booked individually or all together as a fully self-contained 3 bedroom apartment with its own private spa! Or bring a few more and book out the entire lodge for your group, we can sleep up to 12 guests!

Hi. We stayed in room #5 studio apartment. Room was well decorated and clean. Very handy location and nice and tidy street. Parking right outside room. Apartment is right on a main road, but in all honestly the noise of cars passing never bothered us. We left our dirty dishes every morning and they were cleaned by the time we got back, along with new fresh towels and clean cups / plates. Bathroom is basic, but clean. We found the studio has everything you need. We booked last minute so only paid $80 per night - so really can't complain for that price!!. 5NATALIA AUCKLAND - May 5, 2013 Travelbug verified review

We thought the room was decorated with taste, and the location was convenient. We were able to walk to the park and lake. It was clean and had everything you needed. However, despite the "city views" in the description, we found that there were no views! Although the room did have windows, the blinds had to be closed to avoid people looking in, and the brown colours of the room made it seem even darker! We didn't realise the kitchen would be in the bathroom, and found the set up a bit awkward, especially having to wash dishes in the wash hand basin. However, the booking went smoothly and the room served its purpose. We didn't suffer from the noise, even though the room was off the road. If I visited again, I think I would prefer the penthouse option!

Great for travelers that don't mind sharing facilities and meeting new people. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom in our room needs some work. After showering the entire bathroom is awash with water. Had to use towels to mop up and the sink is only just big enough to wash your hands. Found shaving and even cleaning teeth a little difficult. Fine for a short stay.

Handy location room was nice and clean everything was good except that there was a couple of lights on the ceiling that didnt seem to be working the room was quite hot too.

Well presented, comfortable place with a nice communal area. Good location, handy to local restaurants and bars. Only suggestion would be air conditioning or a least a fan for each bedroom. We happened to stay on a very muggy night and luckily, as it was just us (the other 2 rooms were vacant), we could pinch the fan from the lounge to help keep us cool. Otherwise it would've been a very sticky and restless sleep.

Having stayed at a number of 4 - 5 star establishments during our time in NZ, the Lake View Penthouse was one of the better ones. On the plus side, it was quaint and homely yet spacious, walking distance to the CBD, had a comfy bed and the view was pretty outstanding. Checking in was easy and reception was friendly and helpful. On the downside, the walls and floors are paper thin and we could hear everything as I'm sure the other guests could of us. And secondly, the lack of adequate heating was notably absent and something I would have expected in that level of accommodation. Overall, I'd still stay there again.

Hi Gavin Thank you for your feedback and gratefully received. We are currently investigating the heating issue and should have this resolved within the next couple of days. The walls and floor is a little more involved and we are talking to people now about ways we can provide extra sound proofing. We look forward to perhaps seeing you again in the future.
