Booked for one night. Very pleased with room, clean, stylish, bed a little hard, good breakfast. Good location, great price.

The room was a bit small and old. Poor service during check in, we arrived late in the evening and we were tired, we had to wait to be attended. Two staff members were a few steps away at the bar having a laugh. When asked if we were given the bedding configuration we asked for, staff responded that there was no comment made under our booking.... When we clearly stated that! not a good experience, we will return to rotorua but will not stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. It is disappointing to read of the poor customer service received on your arrival; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. I have spoken directly to the employees in question to ensure there is a no repeat instance of this service. Although we cannot guarantee the bedding configuration we do strive to offer this where possible, however on occasion guests may request a king bed, and due to the hotels busy occupancy, only twin rooms may be available. Your comments are important to us as we strive to continually offer a premium service to all of our guests. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future.

Room was good -beds excellent tv a little small, bathroom good facility very basic as far as bar and restaurant area close proximity walking to everything in all ok but not real flash.

The room was old and the bath room was worn out too... Did not give a feel that we were in a hotel at all...

Thank you for your feedback. The hotel was a new build 7 years ago which is certainly relatively young by hotel building standards. We do have slight damage to some surfaces in the bathroom due to the sulphur damage, which is widespread in the surrounding Rotorua area. We do get an overwhelming positive response from the majority of our guests, so i can only apologise that you personally felt the hotel was not to the standard expected.
