Our stay was excellent. Room was very tidy and clean. Staff were ok could be more helpful at checkin. Breakfast was really good. Spa and pool in hotel is worth using

Sorry not that impressed. I stayed in this Hotel about 10 years ago & loved it….that’s why I went back. This time I feel for the price the rooms are small & need updating. The receptionist on check in was very grumpy & not at all helpful. Most places include breakfast in the price...wasn't aware of whether breakfast was included or not & wasn't going ask that receptionist. The receptionist on check out was great, very helpful & professional. I agree with Amice Hsu's comment....beds are good, but definitely bring your own pillow. There is a lot of choice around now, so Novotel might need to pick up their game a little. Sorry guys I have always been fairly easy to please & hardly ever leave negative feedback.

Probably the best choice of this type of hotel in Rotorua, I have been to a few there and this is definitely the pick of them all in it's class and price. We liked the restaurant very much and breakfast was great. We also loved the pool and the spa pools, in all a very nice stay all round. We also went to the Matariki Maori concert which was only okay. The best is Mitai which is superior to all others in Rotorua.
