Enjoyed the stay. Would've loved to be informed when we arrived on where is what that we could use like the spa etc. Also0 the website says light continental breakfast but there was nothing or info about it.. The location impressed us - right on the lakefront and so quiet. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome. The unit was well equipped, clean, and tastefully furnished. Very pleasant walks beside the lake and up a stream - the tranquil setting away from traffic noise was a major drawcard for us. Would like to visit again!

We stayed 3 bedroom. It was very nice view. My children enjoyed big room and spa. But there are something i have to tell. The bread for breakfast was not ready.even they did't bring it until we requested.the milk was expired date! we couldn't watch tv, because it has ho signal.tv remotecontrol's battery was out. A heater was out of order.we wanted to contact to the owner. The guidebook for guest says we can use a telephone at room outside office our, but there was no telehone! there weren't enough firewood and they didn't give us match.we were cold.

Most guests come to the office in the morning with delight in telling us how much they loved their stay and the lodge and that they don’t want to leave! It upsets me knowing this was not the case for you. I am of the understanding that your requests were attended to immediately once they were brought to our attention. We stayed in the Troutbeck lodge the other night and we were amazed by how beautiful the studio was set up. we had a lake front view and we only paid $49 for the night due to a deal. Even at full price of $59 this place is a steal! Highly recommended!! I will go back next time and check out the other rooms for variety :-)

The web-site indicated there was a Troutbeck Lodge Guest Kitchen. I enquired at reception when we checked in and was advised there was not one. Unit was very clean. Toaster supplied but had to request knives to spread butter.

You were informed correctly that the studio does not include a kitchen, however the other rooms within the lodge do have access to a shared guest kitchen. The place was a great location and rooms were nice and comfortable. the rooms and bathroom in the garden suite are all seperate rooms along the corridor in the communal area and do not connect but otherwise a nice and very relaxing place to stay

I was lucky and got the studio room at special rate. This was a great place to stay and the staff was friendly. I will be back when I have chance. ^_^ will bring along my friends. See ya.

We got this room at a special rate and it exceeded my expectations. It was really nice and comfy, in a quiet location. We were lucky as well to have good lodgemates.
