BK's Rotorua Motor Lodge is one of Rotorua's newest motels, we are Qualmark rated 4 Star Plus & our 16 modern suites (all non-smoking & serviced daily) provide guests with quality & comfort
Our complex is in a great central location in a quiet street by the supermarket, shops and restaurants with only a short stroll to the lake. Rooms are double insulated and have hush glass. Balcony area with table & chairs. Guest facilities include laundry, cot and highchair.
Most of our suites have duo spa bath/shower, and all have kitchen facilities, dining suite, recliner armchairs, electric blankets, ceiling fans, direct-dial phone, hairdryer, iron and ironing board etc. We have queen/single studio suites, mobility access suites, 1-bedroom suites, 2-bedroom interconnecting suites and a large 3-bedroom apartment style family suite.

Good location,it took about 15-20 minutes to walk to the restaurants.the room was spotless and comfortable.the hosts were friendly.we ususally stay at hotels so comparing it , i would say it is just a regular motel and would give it a 3 1/2 star rating. 5DOUG GERRY - May 25, 2013 Travelbug verified review

Disapointed! dont get me wrong it was clean, tidy and adequate but major false advertising!! definately not 4 and a half star! i fail 2 c how it was a 90% saving as it cost $99 and thier most expensive rm was 130?? did not have spa in room was a big bath at best definately not what i call luxury. Poorest excuse 4 continental breakfast i have seen, juice was 2 mouthfuls and toast not even cooked, good thing it was free because i certainly wouldnt have payed $24!! extremely disapointed in travelbug thought you would have atleast checked up on the star rating!!!!!!!!.

Thank you for your feed back John. We are disappointed to see your comments. Our advertising is an accurate reflection of the services we offer our guests. Our 4 and a half star rating is an official rating awarded to us by Qualmark NZ, a Industry Standard, this enables us to market our property as such. We are NOT SELF RATED. The deal you booked clearly stated a "duo spa bath" as is in the room. The 90% alluded to on the deal you booked is an overall percentage of positive reviews for like accommodation in Rotorua, NOT a discount figure and was never refered to as a discount figure. I am sorry you interpreted it as a discount figure. Our Continental Breakfasts are delivered to the room the night before and placed in the fridge. The glasses are 150 ml's yes a small glass, with a couple of slices of bread each for toast, creal, peaches, yoghurt and spreads we have had good feedback re the breakfast. You do have to toast your own toast in the morning.(toaster supplied in kitchen)

Excellent hosts, very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect within walking distance to town. Loved soaking in the spa bath at the end of the day. Unit was spotless. Quiet. Highly recommended! will definitely stay again! - logan and awhina .
