Was ok. But not good if you have young children or babies as its right beside a 24hr bp petrol station, which is soo bright in the rooms at night. My kids thought it was still daytime-curtains where very lightweight-we had to pin up blankets to try to block some light. .

The motel was fine and a very good price. The proprietor was very helpful in making suggestions for things to see and do in Rotorua, and he has a very nice write up in the welcome book. Easy to use wireless service as well.

Great price, good welcome even though i was very late arriving. Good new tv and very clean welcome bedding. Only little gripe was the loud traffic noise from early in the morning... Log trucks? otherwise will definitely stay again.

Good over night stop very clean and tidy. ,very warm welcome and helpful,plenty of tea and coffee with fresh milk.

This motel is a bit dated but is I believe gradually being upgraded. It is set back off the rather busy main road, but still suffers some road noise especially from lorries calling at the service station next door. Our room was very satisfactory, but would benefit from a few hooks around the place. We came in soaking wet one day and could find nowhere to hang wet things. There was an excellent new large screen TV in the room which was useful for the wet day.

Thank you for the five star rating. We are upgrading as economics will allow. The price this room sold for is one of the least expensive in town, and that reflects our position and the age of the building. That said, the motel offers very good value for money and most of our guests appreciate, as this one did, the little luxuries we have provided such as a big TV.

Very warm welcome by friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay had fun in spa's and pool, we can see updating and improvements of the facilities have started. Very reasonable price for family unit and we would be happy to stay here again thank-you

Electric blankets would be greatly appreciated. A heater that is more than a spotlight would be great. More than one soap and one shampoo when the room is for two would be great. Having the coffee and tea topped up when staying for more than one day would be nice. Having flannels would also be an advantage.

A lack of electrical sockets in this older building prevents us from using electric blankets. Had we been asked a better heater would have been provided no problem. Our tariffs are very low and we have to be more 'mean' than we would like with amenities. We have found flannels to be rarely used and often abused, so we don't as a rule put them out, but can provide them if asked.We encourage guests who stay several days to bring their own amenities, but if asked we will stock up on what is required. The feedback is welcome, and we do regret any inadequacy the guest felt regards our level of service. We do want to be a good budget motel and we will be endeavouring to maintain our budget prices whilst providing a better product. That said, the costs of all the amenities can be more easily met when one is charging in excess of $100 a night, as do many motels in Rotorua, but when people only want to pay around $80 a night it is increasingly difficult to pamper them as they would like.
