Windmill Mountain Lodge

Pay for only four nights when you book for 7. (Conditions apply).

This Lodge was a 19th century school, which has been/is being renovated as a B&B / farmstay, situated 10kms north of Ohakune (5mins by car), on state highway 4, 800mtrs from the turn-off to National Park.

We also have a newly renovated cottage/ backpackers style accommodation (sleeps up to 10 people), that now has gas infinity hot water. The lodge has luxury en suited double rooms - a shared lounge in the accommodation quarters, to relax, make coffee, tea, socialise, or just to unwind.

We cater for breakfast, and dinners on request,($25 per head / two course meal) and packed lunches for those requiring them.

Central to Wanganui,Taupo and Palmerston.

Great place to stay if you are waiting to do the Wanganui river trip or needing somewhere to relax after, if you are in the area for skiing/tramping or just passing through

We cater for weddings/functions up to 80.

We have animals to get friendly with - Jet and Clyde big woolly St Bernards that just loves cuddles.

Check in time for all areas of lodge and cottage is 4.30pm unless prior arrangement has been made.
