We are centrally located on the main street of New Plymouth. Close to the airport and main highways north and south. We are within easy walking distance, of the CBD, foreshore walkway (Wind wand, Puke Ariki - Museum/I-Site), Pukekura park and surf beaches.
Also a short drive to Mount Egmont, (tramping, skiing or a gentle amble), famous gardens, parks and golf courses.

Excellent customer service, rooms had everything you need including toothbrush and razor which was a nice touch. Rooms are small but did the trick. Water pressure for shower very average! room service reasonable turn around and tasted good. Restaurant breakfast nice. Recommend :).

My first time at this hotel.i couldn't check in early than 2pm as they very busy because of womad. The staff were friendly and helpful.i knocked over a lamp while trying to plug the phone in.be careful as they break easy. I was woken up at 3am the next morning by a assume were womad performers performing in the bar. When housekeeping tried to wake them at 10am they wouldn't wake. I had a meal in the bar which was delivered to my room minus any room charge. This is the second new plymouth hotel i haven't been charged for a meal delivery fee great. I had a nice hoki fish meal and wedges and a nice minestrone soup and a lemon cheesecake. I was shown around the buffet at 6pm but wasn't hungry.the buffet was massive you got to see it to believe it.i'm going back next time to try the buffet and the breakfast.the room queen i stayed in was very nice with a great minibar. They have a big stone asterix character in the entrance to the restaurant. .

Clean and comfortable, but room lacking in amenities, such as bedside table, clothes/baggage space and air-conditioning. Also very noisy over weekend and wi-fi access hard to get. Otherwise good value.

Would have been better if broadband reached our room but apart from that everything else first class.
