We are friendly and helpful with extensive knowledge of the Taranaki Region Sunflower Timandra offers a quiet, safe and peaceful environment in a central location to all of New Plymouth's major Venues and a short walking distance to the city.

Pretty far out of the way, but we walked nonetheless. There was a mixup with the reservation and they thought 2 girls were coming instead of a couple, but the other girls in the dorm style room were ok with it and so staff allowed it. Whew! People staying there were really nice and staff was cool except it would have been nice to have more enforcement of quiet rules when a group came in drunk and loud at 2am. 5KATHARINA LORENZ - Jan 31, 2012 Travelbug verified review

hi thre Katharina, thank you for placing the feedback. Sorry to hear about the loud guests, normally it is a quiet place, but that was right on World Cup and the lodge was brimming. Very happy with our stay and really happy with the facilities, very clean and tidy and perfect for our last minute travel that we had to do on this day, would certainly recommend to all as a good place to stay with a reasonable price...cheers and thanks :)
