Abode Motor Inn is ideal for the business and corporate traveller or families wanting the convenience of being so close to all of New Plymouth's attractions. Leave your car in our secure courtyard carpark and walk to the local shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. New Plymouth's popular foreshore walkway, the Wind Wand, Puke Ariki Museum and Pukekura Park are also just a few minutes walk.
Our 21 unit motel offers you the choice of Queen Studio Units, King/Twin Studio Units, Queen Spa Studio Units, Deluxe Studio Units, 1-bedroom Units and 2-bedroom Units. We also have access and interconnecting units. All units are self-contained with ensuite bathrooms and cooking facilities. The studio units have reverse-cycle airconditioning to ensure the perfect temperature year round.

Fully exceeded expectations, which is ironic since their mission statement is also to 'exceed expectations'. Friendly, helpful, clean, comfortable and not over-priced during the Womad festival. Will be booking again for next year!

Well all I can say is it was a standard Motel no different to any other motel I have stayed in. I did expect more from a Deluxe Queen Unit but Didn't notice anything special.

Whilst the units appear to be quite new, the sound pfoofing is not good. Being in a bottom unit in the morning it sounded as though water was draining down the walls. The general sound proofing of the units was not good.

The units are constructed of solid concrete ( tilt slab ) with concrete floor and framed/lined ceiling between upstairs/downstairs, windows are hush glass with double glazing fitted.
