Carrington Motel is the Closest affordable Motel to Pukekura Park and the bowl of Brooklands, set in a park like setting 300 meters from town Facilities include Off-street parking, BBQ, Guest Laundry, Wireless and modem Internet access, Office facilities, Pick up and drop off to bus station, Tours organized from Summit to surf .

The positives: the location which enabled the cbd to be walked to / from. And the room was very clean. Peculiarities rather than negatives: the interior design was completely mis-matched and clearly budget. We had a very enjoyable stay at the carrington for a night as we were passing through new plymouth. The customer service was excellent and the room clean with everything we required. Had a good nights sleep. Would stay again.

Owner very helpful. Location not close to shops as advertised. Otherwise clean and comfortable. Main meal crumbed fish which tasted old and at $18 over priced.

Very spacious room although having the beds right next to the external door felt a little odd and the room could probably be rearranged to advantage. Clean and comfortable.

I would hate to leave bad feedback and be the only one, so I will not. The price reflects the motel. Noise from neighbouring units from all around, especially the tv. Didn't get to sleep till quite late because of the noise from tv´s. Money needs to be spent on sound proofing the rooms. The room had 4 walls and a lock on the door, that´s the best I can say.

We appreciate the time you took to write the review of your stay in our motel. We are very sorry to hear that room had a lot of noise and you had bad experience with us. It was made by other people we could control the noise level but unfortunatly we have not receive any calls and we did not know there was noise out there. But we do understand we could ensure level of noise beforehand. We are considering to do with soundproof in near future to ensure our guest spend more quality time with us.
