Headlands Hotel opened in May 2008, just off Surf Highway 45 home to legendary surf breaks, located on the cliff top 100m from Opunake beach and shops; 2km drive to professional surf breaks, guarded by Mt Taranaki, native bushwalks and coastal walkways.
9 rooms ranging from stylish studio rooms to luxury boutique suites with mountain/sea views and spa baths. All rooms have kingsize or single twin beds, private ensuite, Sky TV, broadband internet, DVD, minibar, electric blankets, air conditioning/heating, hairdryer, workstation, microwave and 2 rooms with full cooking facilities.
Café/Restaurant open 7days from 8.30am til late, for breakfast, lunch or dinner, conference facilities available including catering, group bookings and functions.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Accommodation and restaurant were a very good standard. Only there 2 nights and the weather was wet most of the time. We would certainly return.
