  • Fantastic place to stay hosts are super friendly always try to stay at the Highwayman when we can. Large & very clean rooms. Also very close to town.

  • What a relaxing stay! My partner and I just wanted to get away for a weekend and the owners gave us everything we needed and managed to stay out of our hair at the same time! Lovely, large, clean rooms with the beautiful gardens outside where you can find the pool and spa. Will definitely be back there very soon.

  • I highly recommend The Highwayman Motel. I was blown away by the hosts; so friendly and welcoming. They really are exceptional. I really felt right at home. The entire Motel has a family feel to it. I had a fantastic time at The Highwayman Motel and would stay there anytime. A superb location, great facilities and top quality hosts....... it doesn't get any better than that!!!!!!!

  • Great place! The motel is very close to the center of town. My family (a party of 7) was able to stay together in their large executive type apartment which had all the amenities of home, AND THEN SOME! Great hosts as well - they sure know their way around the Waiarapa...and their knowledge of local wines is fantastic. We would highly recommend the Highwayman Motel. A must if you are in need of accommodation in Masterton.

  • Such a great place to stay with plenty to do and see around the local area. The owners are so hospitable, friendly and incredible knowledgeable about the local area - they really go out of their way to help you out. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, a real homely feel. Highly recommended!

  • Wow! great place to stay, friendly people who are always willing to help and great facilities. I thought it had a nice relaxing atmosphere.We have stayed here more than once now and will again as it was great for the kids too.Large, spacious rooms and things to occupy the kids while there- fantastic!A+ place!
