The MacKenzie Country Inn welcomes you to Twizel and the heart of the Aoraki Mount Cook Mackenzie region. Reflecting the surrounding mountain scenery in its architecture, this beautifully presented hotel has much more than quality accommodation to offer.

Just over an hours drive to Mount Cook National Park and even less to Ohau ski field, there are plenty of exciting outdoor activities to occupy your time in this outstanding region. Choose from gliding, fishing, salmon farm visits, hydro schemes or try your hand at the golf course adjacent to the MacKenzie Country Inn.

The MacKenzie Country Inn offers guests full facilities in all of the 108 rooms that are available. These comprise of 80 standard rooms and 28 deluxe rooms, all of which are accommodated in the main, rustic hotel building and feature their own private balcony opening out to the expansive hotel property to the mountain views beyond.

All guest rooms are comfortably furnished and equipped for your convenience with irons, ironing boards, hair dryers, tea and coffee facilities, electric blankets, heating and satellite television. All rooms come with baths for you to relax and unwind.
