Set above the City in Dunedins town belt.

Some hotels develop a great reputation through their superb location. Others achieve it through layout and décor. Others manage it by helpful, friendly staff and excellent cuisine.

Pacific Park Dunedin has managed to build a fine reputation based on all of these things, but above all else, Pacific Park is the perfect place for people.

Business people find the location handy, the parking convenient, the restaurant and bar facilities great for entertaining associates

Families enjoy the freedom of the gardens, the seclusion away from busy roads and the value for money.

Visitors generally find Pacific Park a great base from which to explore the rich heritage of Otago...and beyond.

Comments about this property

  • nice rooms, disappointed bar/restaurant not open. Handy to city.

  • We again stayed at Pacific Park - it was so quiet and peaceful - unlike our previous visit to Dunedin. Cecause Pacific Park had no vacancies, we had to stay in the City Centre at the Southern Cross Hotel where it was extremely noisy with all night traffic and young people coming out of pubs etc. This time we had to bring our dog with us - and Pacific Park allows pets, which is great - we were able to exercise our dog in the beautiful surrounding town green belt - we don't know who enjoyed it most - the dog or us! Once again we found all the staff so friendly and helpful. Yes we will definitely stay again - however we will make sure we book well in advance so were are able to get in.

  • disappointed as booked this place as they had bar and restaurant and as we were arriving early evening were looking forwards to relaxing with a meal and drink after travelling, only to be told sorry bar and restaurant closed this evening, had to find a supermarket for a microwave meal. Also had to ask for heater to be turned on as room very cold.

  • I was also d bit disturbed to be asked for a photo of my credit card after I had paid for the room. The staff however were pleasant and the room seemed clean. Shame the bed was uncomfortable

  • Pacific Park is the greatest place to stay, The Staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful, Lovely and close to town, and yet with the town belt( native bush) straight across the road, Rooms were fine, clean and simple. We had dogs and they were made to feel as welcome as us... This is the hotel in Dunedin, for me!!!!!!
