There are two charming bedrooms each with their own bathroom that are both tastefully decorated in restful tones of earth and sky. The wonderfully comfortable super king beds are dressed with top quality cotton sheets teamed with goose down underlay, quilt and duvet and specially woven soft grey blankets and throws.

Your special breakfast may include local fruit, freshly baked scones, brioche or hotcakes, and a variety of hearty cooked fare to prepare you for the busy (or relaxing) day ahead.

The Old Doctor’s Residence can offer you a perfect retreat or a base for action-packed adventures which could include an exhilarating day or 2 on the Otago Central Rail Trail, curling, mountain biking, four wheel drive safaris, golf or trout fishing. Visits to heritage sites and old gold field pubs, along with a tasting of the famous Central Otago pinots are other options if you want a slightly less energetic stay.
