  • My family and I had an awesome time here at new years (30/12/09-1/1/10). The proximity to an excellent swimming beach and within walking distance to the main part of Paihia was awesome. Highly recommend it. Good clean comfortable units only down side was the lack of parking but as we walked everywhere we wanted to go to, we only had to move the car when we left.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bay Sands Motel. The Manager was extremely helpful and knowlegable about the area. The motel unit was very clean and comfortable. Located in an extremely popular area and handy to other beautiful attractions and locations. We loved our whole experience in the Bay of Islands and will be back. Very good value for money.
