  • Excellent room including complimentary breakfast. The computer room was handy and not too expensive at $7 for an hour. Pleased that Travelbug does not charge a booking fee or credit card surcharge.

  • Great value for money with reasonable sized rooms. The hotel is within walking distance to the central city. The front desk were friendly and extremely helpful in recommending a restaurant. We'll stay here again next time we are in Chch.

  • Great location to the casino and there is a shortcut by the Salvation Army to the park to get on the tram. They updated our room as we had a special, but it had not been serviced. Our flight was an early one so arrived at copthorne at 10.30am. They let us into this updated room so we could have a cup of tea and freshen up before we hit the town. Fabulous service and lovely room. Will stay there again. Cheers.

  • A holiday treat for my 9 yr old son .. somewhere flash where he could order room service!! We were not disappointed, fantastic staff, clean rooms with plenty of space. Close to town and easy to find for an out of towner. Thanks to all the staff you make the Copthorne a great place to stay :)

  • Good value, great location, friendly staff and good breakfast. Unfortunately there was a wedding receptionon the 10th floor and we were staying on the 9th. Apparently we should have been told this on check in and I would certainly have moved if I'd known. Make sure there are no functions on if you plan on getting to sleep before midnight or don't accept a room on the 9th floor.

  • Excellent value 3 night deal, brought online. Great upgrade to beautiful room on 9th floor with separate lounge area. Only issue was a little bit of limited parking but staff helpful. Great view from 9th floor. Would definitely stay there again. Great breakfast and excellent location to Christchurch Convention Centre.
