Comments about this property

  • We did not expect to find (i) a three foot square spiders' web filled with dead insects behind the main door; (ii) the kitchen work surface sticky and dirty over the whole area; (iii) the bathroom sink waste pipe partially blocked with debris; (iv) the tea pot stained (we had to wash it before use) (v) the shower control so loose that it came off in my hand, leaving me struggling to replace it in scalding water. As we only stayed one night we reported these problems on a comment form which was posted at reception on departure. We enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant and found the reception staff very pleasant and helpful. We thought the location and accommodation were beautiful but sadly spoilt by the above mentioned details.
