  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Scenic Hotel southern Cross. We were well cared for by reception staff;our room was great and serviced well;we had a beautiful meal in the Hotel restaurant.we enjoyed the access to the Casino and TAB bar. The locality suited our needs for the weekend of our daughters graduation!FANTASTIC!

  • I would stay again as it was clean and quiet and the bed was comfy. But.. No car parking available, and charged for Valet parking I didn't use. Being woken up at 8.30 am to ask if I had used anything from the minibar wasn't fun after a late night :) But... So much cleaner than many places I've stayed so I'd still go again. :)

  • Booking all very smooth and so was check-in. I had stayed at the Hotel in 1995! Found it very comfortable and all that I required for my two-night stay.

  • A really nice room. Pretty small, but lovely decor and furnishings. Felt very cosy and had everything we needed. Good service too, especially on the Sunday morning. A bit of help with bags on arrival would've been nice.

  • Overall, a nice stay -- nothing special, but clean, well appointed and centrally located. The depressing associated casino is a bit of a downer, but I'd stay there again.

  • If you want a nice bit of luxury, this is where to stay. beds, pillows etc all very good. Right beside Casino also. Nice breakfast options too.
