  • Good Central Location and looking Good with new reception area and with new floor.

  • Arrived at 2:30am on Sunday morning, and collected the keys from the 24-hour hotel next door, which was very convenient. We proceeded to park in the secure lock-up and walked straight to the elevator. The 2-bedroom unit was very large, spacious and uncluttered. The bathroom was tidy and clean and the bedrooms & beds large and comfortable. Didn't use the kitchen but it looked fine. We also used the fold-out couch bed which was great. The balcony overlooking the Saturday night action was perfect to chill out with a beer. Asked for and received a late check-out and received great service from the manager. Definitely worth it for it's proximity to town and spaciousness of the rooms.

  • Stayed here on my last 'girl's weekend', found the price wasn't as good as I thought as although the room was well big enough for three, it was dark, basic, and the cleanliness was so-so. Unmanned reception is a depressing, and the appalling smell of garbage (I think, to be fair, it was coming from the dodgy Chinese restaurant next door..but still) in the garage pretty much put me off altogether. There IS better in central Hamilton.

  • Hi Amanda, Thanks for your review. We are a bit exepensive because of Central Location, You might be able to find cheap but not in Central Location. And that room was not too as you said was for three. The smell was from chinese restaurant, nothing to do with us we just made that way to come through the car park because it is easy for the guests, But we will still try to find some solution for that smells. I hope this will not happen on your next stay.

  • We were looking for a budget one-night stop between New Plymouth and Auckland Airport. We had great trouble finding the entrance but eventually worked our way through the renovations underway to reception. We were pleased to have undercover parking and the recently updated room was very clean but somewhat sparse in its furnishings. It did serve our needs at a very affordable price but we would not have wanted to have spent too long there.

  • Good central location; clean, basic room. Friendly manager summoned to the un-manned reception who showed me where I could park my car - outside the lockable facility. This was okay as lock-up was not locked at night anyway. I know this because I was up from 3 am with a vandalized fire alarm! The alarm was turned off eventually, I understand this was not the hotel's fault but the management's token printed apology in the lift was a very thin compensation for shattered sleep, the incredible inconvenience of standing on the street and finally laying awake as it took a further 20 minutes to shut the noise off. I would recommend they change their external system somehow to lessen the risk of idiots activating a false alarm. I would only stay here again if I needed a central, party location and would not choose this Hotel if I had children or needed to actually sleep.

  • We arrived late as planned else we would not have accepted this room. The large room contained just the essentials. A 20 years old television set with crappy reception. There was nothing to put the suitcase on so that ended up on the floor. Not handy when you have a bad back. An uncomfortable small couch was too far from the small television. The light in the room impossible to read with. The shampoo/soap dispenser took 50 pumps to wash your hands. (Bring your own is a better idea.) Coffee and tea making facilities in a small dark corner by the door. But all this is not important really. Sleeping is that room was near impossible. Air-condition units from the next door building and the music filled the room when you open the window. We were woken at 2 o’clock by an enormous domestic next door to us. We booked for two nights but only stayed one. If the owner had any pride he would refund one night. AVOID! This is the short version.
