Your hosts Charlie & Dianna Shailer offer a luxurious home stay and tours of their four-hundred cow dairy farm. Their 128 hectare (318 acres) picturesque property looks up at the distinctive and beautiful Pirongia Mountain.
Shailers offers guests a spacious, clean, relaxing home-stay experience which includes not only a breakfast menu impossible to beat, but also restaurant quality evening meals at affordable prices. Situated on State Highway 39, just a 12 minute drive from Hamilton City, it is located in the Heart of New Zealand's most fertile dairy farming region, the Waikato.
Conveniently located just a 15 minutes drive from Hamilton Airport, Mount Pirongia and the Mystery Creek venue, 45 minutes drive to Raglan and Whale Bay, NZ's most popular surfing beach, 45 minutes drive to the Waitomo Caves, 90 minutes to Rotorua and 80 minutes to Mount Maunganui.
Being only 90 minutes from Auckland's International Airport makes Shailers a popular first stop for the tourist to recover from jet lag upon arriving in New Zealand, and the perfect home stay before departure.

My stay at the Shailers B&B was the most enjoyable of my entire trip. Dianna and Charles are awesome hosts, very personable with a great touch to details: fresh flowers and cookies with coffee and tea in my room. The bed was probably the most comfortable I ever slept in. I only stayed one night on my trip from Paihia to New Plymouth and was the only guest that evening so I had dinner with Dianna and Charlie. They made me feel very welcome and at home. Thanks Dianna and Chalie! HIGHLY REMOMMENDED

It was an absolute pleasure to stay with Dianna and Charlie. They were so helpful and friendly we felt we had known them for years. The accommodation was one of the highest standard we had experienced in New Zealand as was the breakfast. Definitely very highly recommended.

The dinner and breakfast was great. The bedroom and lounge with billiard table was nicely decorated. The farm tour gives a great insight into the new zealand dairy industry

We were literally treated like family in the best possible sense. Our hosts were warm helpful and generous, the facilities were vety comfortable, and a beautiful rural garden setting. Breakfast was a delightful and generous treat from an e tensive range of options - a highlight!
