The Hamilton Airport Hotel & Conference Centre is conveniently located adjacent to the Hamilton International Airport terminal. The central airport location is only a short drive to Hamilton, Cambridge and Te Awamutu, as well as the Mystery Creek Events Centre, Lake Karapiro and popular wedding venues.
Choose from 62 well-appointed Studio, Executive Studio and Apartment style rooms. Executive studios feature air conditioning and spa baths, and Apartments feature a separate bedroom and kitchen facilities.
Hudson's Restaurant and Bar is open daily for breakfast and dinner in relaxing surroundings overlooking the airport. Room service is available.
Extensive leisure facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, tennis court and petanque court. We are located 2kms from The Narrows and Lochiel Golf Courses.
Our Conference Centre offers 4 meeting rooms seating up to 200 theatre style with full catering and AV equipment available.
Our reception is open 24-hours to meet all flights and car storage is available. The terminal is only a short walk from the airport terminal.

Hotel stay was convenient to the wedding venue we were attending. The breakfast was ok, my husband wasn't happy about paying the full amount as they had run out of the bacon and eggs, cooked breakfast etc. Wouldn't eat here for breaky again, the price didn't suit the food availability. 1DEBBIE CAMPBELL - May 5, 2013 Travelbug verified review

Very convenient - super close to hamilton airport. Fantastic that carparking is available at the hotel while away. Room was clean and comfortable. Helpful service from reception and good service from the onsite restaurant. .

I wasn't going to write a review for this place as I am uncomfortable with bad reviewing but I am startled to see that it rates very highly! I can't let anyone else book a room here without warning them that there are much, much, nicer places in Hamilton to stay for similar prices. We should have been warned by the fact that we were the only people in the entire complex when we arrived but I was still quite shocked by the poor standard of the rooms. Everything was very old, scratched, marked, and smelled of damp & disinfectant. It's the first time I have ever asked for my money back rather than stay at a hotel. The reception staff were pretty nice about it but insisted I view another room (which was exactly the same!) and the whole thing was really uncomfortable & sad. They returned our deposit though, which was a relief.

Hi Amanda,glad to see that you recieved the refund for the accommodation from your booking in January. Possibly a bit of a misunderstanding regards our occupancy on this day. We were seventy per cent full, maybe when you were checking in you were the only guests at the time. The rooms we showed you on this day are in need of a refurbishment, mainly cosmetic being painting as they do get knocked around by guests due to their demand and several have been completed to this date. We are progressively working through them at the moment and hope to have our standard rooms completed by in the coming months. Kind Regards Trevor Armour General Manager

Very handy to mystery creek events so would stay again but reception not friendly. Bar staff and restaurant staff were lovely & could teach reception about the importance of customer service.There was also a lack of information about the hotel & local attractions. Would help if there was an information folder in your room. Our room that could sleep 3 was tidy but needed doing up. Beds were uncomfortable, fold down bed in lounge had a very thin mattress that our son could not sleep on. TV also too high on wall, neck strain!

Nice place to stay, but they need to make prices for extras clearer. I didn't realise the horrendous prices for the snack basket and minibar items until the end. I also used a dial up internet connection for about two hours which ended up costing me for about 2 months worth of use (there was no schedule of rates to be seen for this). But for all my griping, it is a nice place to stay and I would stay there again, but I would be a lot more careful about using any extra items.
