Ibis Tainui Hamilton is located in the heart of Hamilton city overlooking the Mighty Waikato River. Adjacent to Novotel Tainui Hamilton and Skycity Casino, the hotel is only minute's walk away from relaxing river walkways, cafes, restaurants, shopping and entertainment. This international 3.5 star hotel features 126 accommodation rooms, a Restaurant and Bar, and three meeting rooms. Ibis Tainui Hamilton offers complimentary car parking for Hybrid Vehicles.
With its sleek modern decor and spectacular views of the Waikato River, i-bistro offers contemporary New Zealand cuisine, either indoors or alfresco on the balcony. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a warm and relaxed atmosphere can be enjoyed all year round.
Also available are two conference rooms and a boardroom offering a great venue for meetings or training sessions. Ibis offers day delegate packages to suit all requirements and budgets and can be tailored accordingly.
The accommodation rooms offer a choice of city or riverside views, King or twin bedding, and interconnecting rooms on request. All are fitted with individual air-conditioning units, flat screen tvs, on-demand movies, Sky TV, tea/coffee facilities, internet access, and mini fridges.
The Ibis's unique grab it and go menu offers an alternative to dining in the restaurant. It means the guests can order a meal on the run and then retire to their rooms to enjoy after collecting from the restaurant.
PARKING: Valet parking is available in our underground carpark. This is strictly limited and is $20.00 per vehicle per night.

Had nice stay,good room etc meals and service good wanted to stay another night being easter,but rate not same would have thought while in hand so to speak would have spent more meals etc, maybe all rooms full.

Great stay. Hotel has nice quiet rooms with good facilities. Very handy to centre of town. Staff are amazing. Everybody so friendly and helpful. Will be back.

Once again, excellent value for money!! i have booked in @ the ibis several times over the years & every time it is 1st class. Have recommended this hotel to everyone & anyone who has queried accommodation in hamilton. It is central & convenient to everything .... I too would like the parking to be part of the room rate but if it was i probably would never be able to book here again because all the rooms would be taken!! so i'm happy just as it is. Thanks again ibis tainui hamilton .... .

All good, nice hotel, only thing that was 'painful' is that the hotel wanted to slap me with a 1.5% credit card charge fee. I advised them that this was contrary (very likely) to the merchant agrement that they had already signed (they refused to provide a copy) i.e. no difference in pricing between credit cards and alternate payment methods. Sadly this is become more common in NZ hotels as they look to "clip the ticket" from these staying with the extras etc (no reflection on the booking otherwise).

Room was clean & tidy, staff great and apologised for only 1 lift. Have stayed quite a few times now and continue to provide good service.

Great stay on 28th october,2012. Excellent room, comfy beds, great staff, and also being able to take a light meal back to our room was very much appreciated, as we had a very busy time of late. Definitly will use again and have already recommend to others. Joan pierce.

Good value for money paid, only negative is additional parking cost - think it should be included in room rate.
