Had a 3rd stay at the ambassador motel and as usual the room was nice and clean. The staff were very helpful and their service excellent. It was nice to see the cafe open. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast that was well presented at good price. Will stay again.

Friendly staff. Check in required a credit card plus drivers licence plus a signed form. There is no bar/restaurant or breakfast as advertised . There are also no microwaves in the business studios at least. The advertised revamped/rejuvinated rooms have newish carpet & a feature wall wallpapered with new bedspreads. The bathroom & the other fittings & furnishings are the original. Couldn't get the wiifii to work & reception didn't have any suggestions. Overall basic value for your money but no frills. .

I stayed in the Executive Studio at the Ambassador and i was thoroughly impressed with the quality of not only the service but the room itself, especially at a very reasonable price. The room was in pristine condition and everything was of a very high standard (cleanliness, bed linen, even the bed itself was very comfortable)! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall my stay was exceptional and would recommend The Ambassador to all. Five stars!
