Take the Ruakuri bushwalk through lush forest, enter the underground caves to see our world famous glow-worms or go on an adrenaline filled black water rafting trip.

This place had the potential to be really good - the only thing we didn't like about it was the hordes of Kiwi Experience people that turned up every day! However, this place is in the middle of nowhere and has to make its money somehow, so I guess we can excuse them for that, as the rest of the service was great and the room was cute, clean and tidy :) 4HEIDI LEE - May 7, 2013 Travelbug verified review

We had no hot water in our quad chalet. Realised this after dinner. Were upgraded to the chalet kitchenette which is way better value for money and we would happily have again.

I booked a 4-bed dorm, but was upgraded to a 2-person room when I arrived (and was allowed to check-in early!) The place is clean and has good amenities. It has an on-site restaurant and is right next door to Curly's bar, which apparently is the common watering ground for the locals as well as tourists. Would recommend this place to other travelers.

The room was clean. I like a partition between beds which provide better privacy. Kitchen was well equipped. I hoped water pressure of the shower was stronger.
