We have two properties available for a wonderful break away in Carterton. 100 year old cottage once used as the old shear's quarters,step back in time and enjoy yesteryear. Rustic and romantic, also available is a one bedroom villa with all the mod cons.(MAIN PIC)

We had a great 3 nights in the shearers cottage - very quiet (even though there was a country & western music festival on across the road). Lovely historical atmosphere inside the cottage. Highly recommended for that romantic weekend away.

Charming decor and friendly, helpful owner. Didn't get to spend much time in the cottage as we had a full weekend. The back garden looked inviting though. Main bed very squeaky and no opening windows in the bedroom, and the sofa bed in the lounge was uncomfortable. Unfortunately the neighbours had a loud party on our second night so earplugs were vital. Hopefully that's a rare accurrence. Definitely mixed feelings about the place but verging on thumbs up i guess.

We had a lovely and comfortable stay in the shearer's cottage. Secluded back garden was a bonus and a great place to have lunch. Very helpful and friendly owners.

We have stayed in the shearers cotttage once before as we work in the Wairarapa several times a year.The bed is comfortable,the breakfast delicious,and the vintage cottage is charming.Great to see they have sky now too.Also the owners are lovely and very helpful if needed.

The owners were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The accommodation was lovely, so much beautiful wood in the decor.
