Plum Cottage is the perfect place to come and unwind. Nestled under established trees it offers peace, privacy and comfort. With your self contained cottage you can treat yourself to a spa, sit and enjoy the half acre of gardens and birdlife, get cosy inside with the fire or get out and experience all the wonderful things the Wairarapa has to offer.
Plum Cottage is situated in Featherston. We are a 5 minute stroll away from shops, cafes, restaurants, museums, parks, bushwalks and the train station. Only 10 minutes to drive to Greytown and Martinbourgh and just under an hour from Wellington.
Appointments can be arranged for a massage therapist or a beauty therapist to come and treat you in house.
Your hosts Megan and Gary will warmly welcome you and are readily available to offer their local knowledge, hospitality and assistance during your stay. If you have any enquires please email plumcottagebnb@gmail.com

Lovely cottage in heart of featherston. Very clean and tidy. Hosts were lovely & friendly and the fluffy chickens were super cute!! loved the fireplace. Would stay again, absolutely.

Megan and garry we grate hosts. The cottage was lovely and clean. The shower had the best pressure, and the bed was very comfortable!. I loved the gardens and the spa was an added bonus. I would love to stay again.

Megan and gary and of course buster the labrador were all so welcoming. The accommodation was spotless and had all the items you would need to have a fabulous stay. Plum cottage is a peaceful retreat very comfortable would recommend to any of my family and friends without hesitation. Helen uk november 2012.

We enjoyed our stay. After a short drive from lower hutt we were quick to unwind especially in the spa which we used twice a day and was very relaxing. Being handy to town and the surrounding area was helpful as we had a day trip to kahatura. The cottage was all you needed and very clean and tidy.

Wee cottage in a lovely, quirky garden, complete with friendly hens and a load of feijoas. All very nicely presented. Very comfortable bed, plus an open fire and kitchenette. Modern bathroom, plus a hot-tub in private sunken courtyard.it is all excellent value for money, especially compared with what is offered in greytown, 10 minutes away. We went in autumnand felt it may be rather cold in mid-winter, as the cottage did not appear well insulated. The cottage would benefit from more comfy seating seating, rather than the small 2-seater sofa that's there currently. It would be lovely to have a big squashy chair or two to pull up to to the fire.

Absolutely excellent. Wonderful weekend. Wonderful perfect cottage. Warm, clean, spacious, light. Decor and fixtures well fnished. We would fully commend it and would not stay anywhere else in featherston in future. May be add a heated towel rail?.

Thanks so much for a lovely stay in your nice cottage. The spa pool was magic under the stars and again in the mornings. Warm and cosy.
