Built in 1870 this is one of Greytown's original country pub hotels, situated on the main street. Greytown is located in the heart of the Wairarapa, about an hour's drive from Wellington and 15 minutes drive to Masterton and Martinborough.
Turkey Red is funky and friendly and offers a variety of accommodation with gorgeous new linen and eclectic artworks, continental breakfast included. There is a restaurant and bar on site which has regular live entertainment, and is open 7 days and available for weddings or private functions which includes an outdoor area with barbeques, a petanque court and outdoor chess. Dine indoors or out in the private garden. For the budget conscious traveller Turkey Red offers meals at 2 for $25 on Thursday nights and 2 for $25 roasts on Sunday.
