This 1880's cottage was built for Great Grandparents John and Jemimah McDonald.
Being in the same family for over 100 years, this old lady holds nostalgic memories for a local farming family.
Situated on the White Rock Road, this cosy authentic cottage is nestled in lovely surroundings with views of farmland and hills.
Granny McDonald's Cottage features full laundry facilities, bath and shower,log burner, SKY digital, video & CD player. BBQ, outdoor furniture. Continental self service breakfast.

Twin single beds.
No Dogs as we are sourrounded by farmland.

We have just spent a month in nz staying in a wide range of accommodation. This cottage was just the place to wind down for a few days - comfortable, homely, very quiet, historical, peaceful and close to martinborough to obtain any requisites or just go to for a meal/drink. A hidden gem. We loved our stay and will be back for a longer stay in winter so we can light that fire!! We had such a lovely stay.
