Postives. Friendly welcome. Clean and tidy unit. Comfy bed what lets it down is how dated it is in its furnishings. For $125 we have in 4 star hotels for less. Would look at staying again though as they had some great deals on family packages. 5C Green - Feb 15, 2013 Travelbug verified review

We stayed in a studio room and found it very comfortable and clean, a little dated, but for $95.00 per night what more could you ask for. Friendly staff, would stay there again. .

Positives: very comfy bed and easy to heat unit on a very cold weekend. Not shortage of hot water and a good pressured shower. Ample parking. Quiet location. Negatives: dark lighting, very poorly equipped kitchen, cleaning not up to my standard (especially in kitchen).

When I made the booking I had some concern because of one or two negative comments. However, I have found this to be totally unnecessary. The reception was friendly and efficient and the accommodation was better than expected. The room was large & clean, equipped with everything we required in a budget motel and best of all it was away from the main road and nice and quiet. I would have no hesitation in staying there again.

May have had the same room as 'Jill Duxfield - Aug 6 2011' as we seemed to have the same issues when we stayed... The light in the toilet didn't work; we flushed the toilet once and the water kept running so we couldn't flush it again; the paint work in the bathroom was chipping; the bed had a visible sag in the middle so was clearly old and in need of replacing. On the positive side, we did get a free Dominion Post newspaper in the morning, the room had some lovely paintings and it was close to town.

Unit large and spacious, but in need of repair. Microwave not working very well, paint off walls, water kept running in toilet and no light blub in toilet, mention at time of stay, (blub). On leaving mention other things but did not seem very interested or concerned.

Great place to stay, good value. Friendly helpful staff, spacious quiet and easy walking distance to town and great dining at the Copthorne just down the road!
