Bob and Maggie welcome you to the haven of KONINI. You can
enjoy a walk or swim at the endless sandy Ocean Beach, have a
game of golf on the adjoining golf links, or simply sit on the verandah and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the large garden. Being only 1 hours drive from the Interisland ferries it is the perfect stop off.
Both the Homestead and the Cottage are of Lockwood solid timber construction. Bob, a cabinetmaker, has crafted all the furniture.
Maggie has developed the large garden.
THE HOMESTEAD SUITE: A traditional B&B in its own wing of
the main house. The Suite comprises Queen bedroom, en-suite bathroom with bath & shower and an adjoining guests sitting room overlooking & with access to the garden . Guests may have a continental breakfast (included in tariff) in their suite or join us in our dining room.
RESTAURANTS & CAFES WITHIN EASY WALKING.

Directions: Turn off SH1 at traffic lights to the Beach. 4 km to automotive garage. Take right fork then next right. 1km to Konini Cres.
Konini adjoins the Waikanae Golf Links & is only 200 metres to the Beach.

We had a great time with Bob and Maggie. It was our first experience at B&B and thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 3 days. Different breaky each morning - all fresh from the fruit trees and garden - delicious! Lovely setting and restful.Would recommend for any who wish to stay at this delightful home.

Thank you Maggie and Bob for a wonderful stay. Even though it was only overnight we slept like logs in the comfy bed and enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the sun, homemade muesli, preserved peaches from their garden, croissants and jam, listening to the canaries tweeting and the soothing water feature. We were away from home less than 24 hours but it felt like we'd been away for ages. Thanks again and we'll be back.
